SQUADPROD / GUIDES

Video production buyer guides for Morocco

Decision frameworks, sourced local facts and practical planning models for people commissioning audiovisual production.

These pages do not recycle generic production advice. They separate official facts from SQUADPROD planning recommendations, quantify decisions and explain the trade-offs that change a real Moroccan production.

Use them to prepare an internal brief, challenge a quotation, reduce approval risk and decide which deliverables deserve production budget.

01

Video Production Cost in Morocco

For planning in Morocco, a focused one-day content production may sit around 12,000–22,000 Dhs, a structured corporate film around 35,000–75,000 Dhs, and a campaign with talent, art direction and several deliverables around 95,000–250,000+ Dhs. These are SQUADPROD planning examples, not market averages or fixed quotations. The reliable method is to price the brief, not force every project into a package.

02

Video Production Brief Template

A production-ready brief should answer 12 decisions: objective, audience, single message, desired action, channels, deliverables, language, proof, creative boundaries, rights, timing and approval. Score each 0, 1 or 2. Below 16/24, the project is not ready for a fixed quote; 20+ usually supports a reliable treatment and schedule. This readiness score is a SQUADPROD tool, not an industry standard.

Filming in Morocco

For a brand, corporate or content shoot, begin 4–6 weeks before filming; use 8–12 weeks when locations are sensitive, talent is complex, specialist equipment is imported or several authorities may be involved. The CCM does not publish one universal permit clock: its current page lists 3 days for advertising spots, testimonials and institutional films, 7 days for several short-form categories, 15 days for feature-length categories, 21 days for documentaries, reports and some television programmes, and up to 30 days for series longer than 120 minutes, counted from the day after a complete application. These are category-specific administrative periods, not the entire production schedule or guarantees for separate location, aviation, customs or security approvals.

04

Drone Filming and Permits in Morocco

Do not travel with a drone or promise aerial shots before the production has confirmed the current import, radio-conformity, filming-location and flight-authorization path in writing. For commercial planning, SQUADPROD recommends opening the file 3–6 weeks before filming and longer for sensitive sites, imported equipment or multiple authorities. This is a production buffer, not an official statutory deadline.

Social Media Content Production System

A practical monthly starting model is 4 content pillars × 3 hooks × 2 durations = 24 video variants, supported by 20–40 edited stills and a reusable B-roll library. This is a SQUADPROD planning model, not a platform requirement. Produce native vertical masters, then adapt selected ideas for LinkedIn, YouTube and paid placements instead of cropping one corporate film everywhere.

Corporate Film Planning in Morocco

Build the film from 5 message blocks: context, customer problem, company method, proof and next action. For many Moroccan organisations, a strong starting scope is 2–4 interviews, a 90–180 second master, 6–10 short cutdowns, French and/or Arabic/Darija/English captions, a clean master and a still-photo set. These are planning benchmarks, not fixed requirements or prices.

Facts are sourced. Planning models are labelled.

Official Moroccan and platform information is linked on each page. Price bands, production quantities, readiness scores, timelines and scenarios are practical planning examples—not public market averages, legal advice, guaranteed approvals or invented client results.
