SQUADPROD / INDUSTRY

Product Content Designed for Recognition, Proof and Conversion

A product shoot should not generate one attractive hero image and dozens of unusable leftovers. It should create a controlled visual system that helps a buyer recognise the product, understand it, trust it and choose the right variant on every screen.

Direct answer

For a focused 1–4 SKU launch, a strong system can include 1 hero film, 6–12 ad variants, 3–6 demonstrations, 8–20 e-commerce images per SKU and 8–16 vertical edits. The production is planned from a proof matrix and delivered in 4 core aspect ratios rather than cropped as an afterthought.

What the buyer is really deciding

Morocco’s digital environment is decisively mobile. At the end of March 2026, ANRT counted 41.08 million internet subscriptions, including 38.10 million mobile internet subscriptions, and average fixed-plus-mobile data usage reached 60 GB per month. More consumption does not mean more patience. Product communication must explain itself at thumbnail size, without sound and within the first moments of a vertical video.

The most common production problem is format-first fragmentation. A brand asks separately for packshots, one Instagram Reel, a website banner and an ad. Each asset is created with different lighting, styling and product orientation, so recognition weakens and costs repeat. We instead define the visual constants: colour accuracy, logo direction, surface, scale, hand interaction, packaging state, claims and the exact product details that may never change.

Conversion also requires proof, not only polish. Depending on the category, proof may be texture, capacity, assembly, application, fit, before/after process, ingredients, dimensions, packaging or what arrives in the box. Every commercial claim should be translated into a shot. If the brand says a cap is leak-resistant, the production must decide whether and how that can be honestly demonstrated rather than merely written over a beauty shot.

Decision system

Four layers the production must prove.

01

Recognition

Keep product orientation, colour, label and key silhouette consistent. The customer should identify the SKU instantly across a product page, marketplace tile and 9:16 ad.

02

Demonstration

Show the action needed to understand use, size or result. Break the demonstration into visible steps and capture both a clean master and close vertical alternatives.

03

Trust

Use accurate colour, readable packaging, realistic texture and controlled claims. Do not remove imperfections or alter proportions in a way that changes the delivered product.

04

Variation

Plan hooks, openings, backgrounds, talent hands, calls to action and aspect ratios during scripting. Ad variation should change the selling angle, not simply the caption colour.

Plan the content system before the shoot.

  1. 01

    Build a proof matrix

List each buyer question or claim and the visual evidence required: scale, material, texture, use, capacity, packaging, application, comparison or included components.

  2. 02

    Lock the product identity

Create a product lock covering exact colour reference, label position, cap, dimensions, reflectivity, transparency and details that cannot change between shots or generated extensions.

  3. 03

    Separate hero and catalogue

Hero imagery can use dramatic light and narrative context. Catalogue and marketplace images need repeatability, accurate comparison and clean backgrounds. Do not force one set-up to do both badly.

  4. 04

    Shoot vertical at source

Compose dedicated 9:16 actions and negative space rather than cropping a 16:9 master. Hands, text safety and product scale behave differently on mobile.

  5. 05

    Design the asset taxonomy

Name files by SKU, angle, platform, ratio and version. Include a contact sheet and usage notes so the marketing team can deploy the library without guessing.

Recommended asset system

One production. Multiple commercial jobs.

These quantities are practical planning ranges. The final scope depends on objectives, locations, talent, operating constraints and rights.

Moroccan operating realities

Local context changes the production plan.

01

French and Arabic packaging

Labels and claims must remain readable and correct in every crop. Where bilingual packaging is used, product orientation should not hide the language needed for the target audience.

02

Local purchase journeys

WhatsApp, Instagram, marketplaces, retailer pages and a brand site may all participate in one sale. The library should include lightweight, quickly shareable assets as well as premium masters.

03

Colour and heat

Cosmetics, food, textiles and reflective products can change under heat or uncontrolled colour temperature. Store and stage samples appropriately and use calibrated references for retouching.

04

SKU continuity

Local manufacturing and packaging batches may introduce small changes. Confirm the final sellable version before production and record batch-specific differences to avoid publishing outdated packaging.

Illustrative planning scenario

Planning example: a Moroccan skincare range with 4 SKUs

The brand is launching in French and Arabic through its website, Instagram and selected retailers. This is an illustrative production model, not a fixed quote or a completed-client case study.

  1. 01

Week 1: product lock, claim verification, SKU matrix and visual treatment for ingredients and texture.

  2. 02

Shoot day 1: catalogue views, packaging details, grouped range images and accurate colour references.

  3. 03

Shoot day 2: application, texture, hands, ingredient world and 9:16 campaign actions.

  4. 04

Week 2: 4-SKU image retouching, hero edit, demonstrations and first compliance review.

  5. 05

Week 3: 10 ad variations, 12 vertical edits, FR/AR graphics and organised asset handover.

A launch library could contain 1 hero film, 4 demonstrations, 10 ad variants, 12 vertical videos and 12 e-commerce images per SKU. Each asset is linked to one claim, one audience question and one approved product version.

Measure useful business signals.

  • Product-page conversion by media set and SKU, with pre/post comparison where traffic is sufficient.
  • Add-to-cart and variant-selection behaviour after demonstration content is added.
  • Creative performance by hook, proof type and objection, not just by visual style.
  • Return or customer-service questions linked to size, use, colour or contents.
  • Library reuse across organic, paid, retail, marketplaces and customer support.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before production

The answer depends on material, reflections, styling and required angles. Simple catalogue items may be produced in volume; cosmetics, jewellery, food or demonstrations need more time. A shot matrix is a better planning unit than a product count.
Not always. A range film can establish the system, while short SKU-specific clips explain meaningful differences. Products with different use, audience or application deserve their own proof.
It can be adapted, but native vertical production usually performs and reads better. We capture key actions for 9:16 and protect text, hands and product scale from the beginning.
We control lighting and white balance, photograph colour references and retouch on calibrated displays. Final appearance still varies by consumer screen, but the production should not introduce avoidable shifts.
It can support controlled extensions, but the physical product must remain locked. Labels, proportions, colour, materials and regulated claims should never be allowed to drift.
